They are less prone to shrinkage and can be much stronger and longer lasting than direct fillings, making them a popular choice for repairing moderate to extensive damage.

The process of getting an inlay or onlay typically requires two visits to our clinic. During the first visit, we will remove the damaged or decayed portion of the tooth and take a scan of your teeth to send to the dental laboratory. A temporary restoration will be placed to protect the tooth until your next visit. At your second appointment, the custom-made restoration will be fitted and bonded to your tooth with a specialised dental adhesive.
